Rates & Fees

The great thing about having a VA is your are only paying for the hours spent on the task and not full time. This saves you so much and is a worthy investment. You do not need to pay holiday or a pension or sick pay all you have to pay is for the work completed. Below is my hourly rates or i also have now introduced social media packages to assist you to build your brand the right way!

My hourly rate is £25-£30 per hour

​

Hourly rates are best used when the work to be done is hard to quantify, or if you want the flexibility of the hourly rate. 

​

  • We have a call or video call to discuss the task, what the goal is, the timescale and deadlines.

  • When the task or project is being carried out, the time spent is recorded on a time management tool which you will have view of.

  • Work is completed in line with the agreement and regular contact will be provided. If hours may exceed your budget or agreement you will be contacted in advance.

Please note that hourly rates should not be used if you need to guarantee availability on a weekly or monthly basis, or if you have a need for regular or ongoing support. Check out the retainer fees as an alternative.

Time Guide

​To help you understand especially if this is your first time using a VA I have wrote down a time guide to give you an idea of how long tasks will take, based on how long has been spent on these tasks previously.

 

All new work is assessed on a case by case basis and a time management tool is used to record all spent time so that it is clear.

  • Data entry – between 1 and 3 minutes per contact.

  • Bookkeeping – between 43-60 transactions can be entered in an hour. 

  • Template documents – approximately 1 document per hour.

  • Writing – between 500 and 700 words per hour.

  • Newsletters/Campaigns – between 1-3 hours.

  • Research – between 300 and 600 words per hour

Retainer Fees

HOW DOES A RETAINER WORK?

Retainer agreements are a great alternative if you require a guaranteed amount of time spent supporting your business, whether it be on a weekly or monthly basis. The best way to do this is:

  • Decide how many hours you require a month or a week. 

  • If you are unsure of how many hours you require we can start with a two-week trial and review this.

  • Either decide on set tasks to be carried out each month or send tasks as and when it suits you, throughout the course of the month or the week. 

  • Work is completed in line with the contract agreement.

  • You will be given updates

  • If you need to reduce or increase the hours, you just need to give a months notice.
